After 35 years of making V.I.P. Beds for Very Important Pets, Barbie Cassidy handed the much-loved dog bed business over to Belinda (vipbeds.co.nz) and retired to her peaceful home by the sea in Hawkes Bay.
Retirement? Not a chance!
After just one week away from the pleasure of working with those wonderful little balls of knopped wool, Barbie realised she wasn't quite ready to stop.
Now, at 87, she's back doing what she loves — creating V.I.P. Wool Pillows for Very Important People.
Her four pillow ranges are designed for sleeping, travelling, sitting and recovering, all using natural New Zealand wool to provide gentle, adaptable comfort.
